A Dagon’s Egg, a Turtle Stone, and a Beetle Stone are the same things! They are all marketing names for Septarian Nodules! They can be found in Utah, anywhere from 20 to 40 feet underground. They are mud balls that fossilized between 50 and 70 million years ago. You may be fortunate enough to view specimens filled with crystals in a museum, or at the St. Louis Science Center, and elsewhere around the world.
